We Are Hiring a Video Editor!
Tripp Films is a growing film production company in Houston, TX, that works with small businesses to create branded video content for their websites and social media. We are passionate about creating engaging and cinematic films that showcase our amazing clients’ stories, and we are looking for a creative individual who shares our passion for filmmaking, storytelling and social media. The Video Editor will assist in the majority of editing projects, from Branded Films and Short Documentaries to Product Film and reels for social media. The position is part-time (20 hours a week). This is a great opportunity for a trained and motivated candidate who is looking to get started with hands-on experience.
Responsibilities:
Review, sort and subclip footage
Manage video assets and keep projects organized
Create rough draft and final sequences with recorded footage, audio, music and graphic assets
Edit cohesive, concise and creative stories that align with the client’s marketing strategy
Execute changes and client feedback
Manage an editing workflow to keep projects consistent
Create video transcripts as needed
Upload final videos to video platforms and website
Stay up to date with current editing techniques and technologies
Qualifications:
Video editing experience with Adobe Premiere or Final Cut
Knowledge of video for web and social media
Experience in with Adobe Suite, including Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Audition
Must be based in Houston. This is not a remote position.
